Pricing questions
Is there a free trial for Startup or Enterprise?
Yes. Sign up for a team and you'll get 14 days of full access with no credit card required. After the trial, pick a plan or stay on Solo (free forever).
What counts as a "user"?
Each machine connected to your team counts as one user. If Alice has one laptop, she's one user. If she uses a MacBook and a Linux desktop, she counts as two (two daemons). You can remove inactive machines from the Team dashboard at any time.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade anytime from Settings → Billing. Upgrades are prorated. Downgrades apply at the next billing period.
What if I go over the 10-user limit on Startup?
New members can't join until you upgrade to Enterprise. Existing members keep working. You'll see a clear prompt in the dashboard.
Do you offer student or open-source discounts?
Open-source maintainers: 50% off Startup, no limit on users. Email us with a link to your project. Students: free Solo tier is enough for most uses; if you need team features for a class project, contact us.
Can I self-host the coordinator instead?
Yes. The coordinator is open source. Deploy your own on Cloudflare Workers + D1 for $0/month, point your team's daemons at it. No license needed for Solo or Startup use. Enterprise customers get a commercial self-host license with support included.
What payment methods do you accept?
Credit/debit cards via Stripe. Enterprise customers can pay by invoice (NET 30) on annual plans.
